Louis H. Gilbert has been a resident of Mansfield, Ohio since 1980. Louis and his wife have two children. Louis graduated from Kenyon College with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics; from Ashland University with an MBA and from Capital University with a Juris Doctorate Degree. Louis has over 30 years in private and public business, commercial and retail banking, workers' compensation and the practice of law. He has taught economics, business and finance at the college level. Prior to joining Calhoun, Kademenos & Childress Co., L.P.A., Louis was in private practice. He has practiced in both state and federal trial courts and state appeals courts.
Louis is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Mansfield and has been active in the following ways: former Board member of Community Action for Capable Youth (CACY); former Board member of the Rehabilitation Services of North Central Ohio; former President of the Friends of the Mansfield/Richland County Library; graduate of the Leadership Unlimited Program of the Mansfield Chamber of Commerce; former member of the Police Review Commission of Mansfield; former Board president of Richland Pregnancy Services and is an Elder in Mansfield Bible Fellowship.
