Victor P. Kademenos was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on January 10, 1945. He is the youngest of three children and spent his formative years in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Wheeling, West Virginia areas. He is married to Evon Kademenos and has two daughters, Jessica and Adrienne. Vic previously lived in Mansfield, Ohio, until moving to Sandusky in 2002.

Vic attended Linsley Military Institute in Wheeling, West Virginia. Upon graduation, he attended Ohio University, Athens, Ohio, where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and Economics with honors, and a minor in Zoology and Biological Sciences and was designed Phi Beta Kappa. Upon graduation from Ohio University, he attended the Ohio State University, College of Law and received his Juris Doctorate Degree in Law in June 1971.

Vic started his professional legal career in September 1971 as a associate with the law firm of Calhoun and Benzin in Mansfield, Ohio. He then served in the United States Army Adjutant General Corps as a Captain and had an early release in June 1972. He returned as an associate with Calhoun and Benzin in June 1972.

Vic is the Senior Partner with the law firm of Calhoun, Kademenos & Childress Co., L.P.A. and heads the Contingency Litigation Department. His day-to-day practice involves the representation of clients in Personal Injury and Workers' Compensation matters. Vic is certified by the Ohio Supreme Court State Bar Association as a Workers' Compensation Specialist. As the firm's Senior Litigator, he handles cases before the Bureau of Workers' Compensation and the Industrial Commission, Common Please Court, Court of Appeals and Supreme Court. Vic has represented clients in virtually every county in Ohio throughout his career and in addition, has represented the majority of the larger corporations in Richland County in defense of their Workers' Compensation claims.

Vic has been a lecturer and faculty speaker for continuing legal education on several occasions, speaking on various aspects of Worker's Compensation law. Vic is a member of the Richland County Bar Association, Erie County Bar Association, Ottawa County Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, and American Bar Association. He is past chairman of the Workers' Compensation Committee of the Ohio Bar Association, as well as a member of the special Legislative Committee relating to Workers' Compensation legislation in the State of Ohio. He is a member of the American Academy of Trial Lawyers, the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers, Workers' Compensation Section and Litigation Section (personal injury).

In 2004, Vic was named as an OHIO SUPER LAWYER in "Law and Politics" and remains listed in this magazine as a Super Lawyer in 2007.

"Law and Politics" mailed 28,700 ballots to Ohio lawyers who have been in practice for five years or more and asked them to nominate the best attorney they've personally observed in action. Additionally, "Law and Politics" research department also searched for outstanding Ohio lawyers by reviewing national and local periodicals as well as legal trade journals, searching professional databases and online sources. Each candidate's background and experience was evaluated for indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. It should be noted that only 5 percent of the total lawyers in Ohio are listed as Super Lawyers.
